You are so very loving to do this, use Hospice all you can! I like EeyoreLynn's idea of a teddy bear, my DH was given one and to my surprise he LOVED it. Praying for you in this hard time.

oh. guessing not for a fun visit? Might I be so bold as to suggest something colorful, fun, hopeful in the room? a college of family/friend photo's, a hopeful quote on the wall, some colorful throw pillows, a cheerful throw, lovely rug? or just a friendly teddy bear?
