I took the paper under the pic and i didn't like the torn look, so I cut a piece out and then I burned the edges over the stove and ran the paper over the flame to give the paper the look like it was a remnant of a burned loved letter. This is a copy of a photo my father kept in his wallet from before they got married. He never showed it to anyone. My sister found it after he died. It was folded up and she posted it on Facebook. I copied it and then printed this one and and 8x10. My parents were poor and I think my mother looks so elegant and regal in this pic.
