Hi! Welcome to this week's Memory Keeping Monday video tutorial. This week I decided to focus on making an ‘all about me’ page. It's been a while since I've done one and I always think that the end/beginning of a year is a great time to jot a few things down about myself. I like for my ‘all about me’ pages to actually look like ‘me’. So I incorporated a few of my favorite styles of the time into the layout itself. Fashion, Home Decor and Scrapbooking seem to go hand in hand so it's easy to create a layout that looks and feels like you. For my layout I chose several things…pom pom balls, chevron pattern, feathers, felt, flags, and Instagram photos. An ‘all about me’ page also calls for using your own handwriting. Even if you don't like yours much, do it.:) I've found that writing on small little tags is an easier way to add handwriting without it looking messy. For my tags I cut the packaging insert from KI's Puffies. Then if you mess up you can turn it over and start again or trash it and grab another tag. In my video you can see the creation of my layout from beginning to end. (I also show you the back of the layout in the video where I attached a pocket for additional journaling.):Challenge: Create an ‘all about me’ page incorporating your personal ‘style’ into it. In addition to the products I used on my page I have related some similar products and things I think would be great to use on an ‘all about me’ page.
