I really stepped out of my comfort zone on this one! My Grandmother absolutely loves the colour pink and anything glittery so I bought the pink "Winter Wishes" DP sheet from a local scrapbook store as soon as I seen it for the sole purpose of making her Christmas card. The problem was I had never made a pink Christmas card so it took me a long time to get this one done but once I added the gorgeous piece of Prima's "Wild & Free" DP for the background it started to come together. Then with Tim Holtz Die-Cuts I created the wintery foliage scene. The thing is I wanted a touch of colour but more of a frosted look, so with the help of my white gesso coating everything and the snow over the poinsettia's I got the frosty look I was going for and then it was just a matter of sprinkling glitter over everything ;O)
Thanks for looking!
