This canvas was created as a grad gift for a young lady I've know for awhile and has been a good friend of my daughter's. Her Mom said she is thinking of doing her dorm room in neutrals and loves green. So, I tried to guess with the colors on this one. I used some really cool rice paper for the background and some 49 and market paper to create the squares. I had a chipboard clock which I gesso'ed and painted and added some prima wax. I also used some 49 and Market laser cut pieces I had in my stash. There is stamping with archival ink and various stamps as well. I also did shadowing with a stabilo pencil around the squares to make it stand out. Lastly, I added some white gesso for texture and painted the very edge of the canvas with distress paint, peeled paint color, and added white splatters. I like how it turned out. Sorry, not going to link products on this one...too many to remember....
