The front room of our house (9x10) has always been my scrapbooking room, but since Covid, my family had sort of taken over. Turns out my husband LOVES to craft mini terrains for our table top gaming. And my Daughter who is an amazing painter had supplies coming out her ears. So all this crafting and art was piling all over my dining room table and on top of MY scrapbook desk and one day I shouted ENOUGH! We are building a room in the garage we can all fit in AND our stuff.

So about 6 weeks later here we are. My husband and I did it all ourselves. We emptied the entire garage into a POD in the driveway and painted the floors with industrial garage paint. The we built a wall and installed a door. Thank goodness my hubby knows enough about electrical and AC to figure all that out while I installed all the cabinets and tables. Unpacking both the pod into the front half of the garage encouraged us to get rid of a bunch of stuff we dont need. I should explain better, its a 2 car garage we split right in half just behind the garage door machine/engine/thing. The front half is garage and the back half is craft room and a door in between. I am SO HAPPY with how it turned out.
