Give a Cheer
I've been playing around with alcohol inks for the first time. Trying to get my feet under this new medium and learn how to work with them. This background was made exploring that process. I'm still not sure if I like them. Anyway, I did some alcohol lift with a text stamp and some stamping with archival ink. Next time, I won't press down too hard for a more clean stamping. I had this butterfly cut out in my extra drawer and used watercolors to match the colors. A few dots...and a sticker sentiments and a simple card. I really liked the colors in this background and didn't want to take away from it. Not sure I like the matting but yeah we don't have to be perfect every time.
