Wednesday:
We got up at 7:30, got dressed and had the breakfast buffet again. The day before we had signed up for a free golf clinic at a local course. While we waited for the bus, we chatted with information booth lady who was a real hoot!
The golf clinic was located at the Flamingos golf course not too far from the resort. Once we got there, we bought bug spray and a hat (lots of mosquitoes!). The instructor taught us how to do a basic swing. Neither of us were very good, and we got hot and sweaty, but still had fun smacking the golf balls. (Even though the instructor told Andrew not to “kill” the ball…) Then the bus took us back to the resort where we hurried over to the buffet for a snack. We found the business center and sent emails to our families.
