On the first Tuesday of every month, I will be posting a hybrid project with instructions at the scrapbookgraphics.com blog. Yesterday was my first post, and the project was these flowers. The structure of the flower comes from an idea on saw on the Craft Stylish web site. I made custom papers for the flowers by printing digital papers and elements onto trace paper. Printing the paper yourself means you can have made-to-order flowers for your scrapbook pages, cards, bouquets, gift wrap, or for whatever else you want to use them. I think that is so cool!
I have very detailed instructions for how to prepare the trace paper for printing and how to make the flowers at: http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com/wordpress/?p=2167
Products Used: Digital Papers: Home Sweet Home Kit from Baers Garten at scrapbookgraphics.com; Digital Elements: Late Summer Afternoon Kit from Baers Garten at scrapbookgraphics.com; Trace Paper: Strathmore; Felt Circles; Floral Wire; Floral Tape.
