SHCG: Very cute birthday cake! Ok, now I wish it was my birthday!! I love how you cut the artisan label to make this card. And the hearts are scrumptious. TFS!
SHCG: very cute card. Love how you used a diecut paper for your card base to give that unique shape.
shcg: what a beautiful card. i would love getting something like this/ how thoughtful!
SHCG: This is sooo cute. I love that ribbon (I happen to have it myself), the bday cake is sweet and love how you did the hearts upside down :)

SHCG: LOVE the shapes on this paper and how it is repeated on the yellow heart squigglies!

SHCG: Love your use of the shaped paper! The hearts are really cool too. Great card!
SHCG - I adore the uniquely shaped lined paper, tiny cake, bitty hearts & printed ribbon here. This is just COOL!

What a neat idea! I have this paper and it never occured to me to use it this way for a card! Thanks for the inspiration!
SHCG: Those three hearts from the ricrac are so you, and that's what makes this card so special. I love the silhouette of that notebook piece, too. I've seen it on so many other types of work, and it always grabs my attention. ETA: I read a technique in a magazine I want to share. It was about cutting epoxy stickers and layering them. I suggest cutting those hearts in half, turning them ever so slightly, and then overlapping them a bit so they actually look like flames, rather than upside down hearts (which originally threw me off). Also, without an itty bitty candle, the cake looks more for a wedding than a birthday.
Oh my gosh, this is soooo cute!
