I was organizing the book shelves trying to stuff as much as I could on them, when it occured to me to take a photo, it won't be long before some of these books will be gone and replaced with chapeter books.
oooh more power to you if you can get them away - Sarah still has ALL hers in her room! She started to CRY when I tried to pack them up - so I figured what harm can it do? She's 12 now and still reads some of them (to her stuffed animals at their bedtime would you believe!) This from the girl who is now on her 4th book in the Twilight series (have you seen those things - they're 500 or so pages each!) This one she's reading now is 720 pages! Geeesh!
Great pic, nice to hold onto this pic and scrap for memories. We're doing something similar right now. We're reading everybook in my 8 year olds night stand, and then placing them in a crate so they'll soon be ready for my 5 year old.
I always felt bad when the kids left picture books behind, they were moving on but I still loved them. Great photo,I see "Make Way for Ducklings" wow, that was loved before MY time and it still sells like crazy.
