1968

I started making the Lo before I had chosen the photos which is unusual for me, and then I came across these pictures of my older brother and sister on the beach in New Zealand.
My brother is wearing a poplin shirt which has little sailing boats and anchors on it, it is just the cutest!!
Then I happened to glance at my button box nearby and I opened it only to discover the wooden button with a ship on it that I had gleaned from my grandmothers button jar!!
Yipee a perfect match and yet again I felt my ancestors watching me scrap!!
