I participated in an Ugly Paper exchange on a different forum. I sent in my ugliest paper and recieved 6 different pieces of ugly paper back. Then I had to use at least 4 patterns on the layout. This is what I came up with. It's amazing what you can do with even the ugliest (flamingo?) paper.
