Tribute to my dad. Journaling "My dad, Joe Otmar, shortly before WWII had ended. The photo was taken in 1945 when he was 24 years old. He joined the army at age 20. Her served in the South Pacific-Bougainville-with the 164th Infantry. I have included some news clippings about him, one in Czechoslovakian,translated by his sister Mary. I can't imagine what he went throught at such an age. Dad,you are my HERO. Thank you for your service. (Dad is 93 years old at time of this layout.) TFL!! jen

What a handsome young soldier and a wonderful tribute to your hero. Please thank him for his service. Your journaling is so nice and I love the envelope pocket with the tidbits of information. The eyelets and twine are a cool touch.
