This is a photo of my two youngest children taken in 1983(ish). They're adults now with children of their own. We all spend so much time wishing our kids would learn to walk, to feed themselves, and a myriad of other things that we forget just how fast time flies by...and suddenly our children have children of their own....this poem (or the part I printed) speaks directly to our growing children.
I used solid gold card stock for the background. I printed the poem directly onto the background then added my photo which is matted in red card stock. The other borders and strips are papers from my scrap bin. The hearts were punched with a MS punch. Title letters are from Carta Bella. The beautiful tag is a sticker from EP for the record collection.
I LOVE THIS! Such a beautiful journaling - and so true - it's all over before you know it. We all need to treasure all those precious moments from their childhoods. That photo of Matthew and Kimmer is so sweet... Love this page :)
