14. Something You're Afraid Of {7 pts} Photo taken for the January 2009 PhotoHunt Challenge. I'm afraid this huge tree will fall on my house during a storm. It is very old and we have already lost some very large branches off it. Problem is we love the tree it is so beautiful with all the leaves in the Spring and during color changes in the Fall.
We live in hurricane alley. After hurricane Katrina we cut down all of the trees. All of the houses in our area were damaged by HUGE pine trees smashing through them. By some chance we were spared and only had a few shingles down. We cut down the trees just in case. Thankfully we have a carport to sit under when it's hot. LOL
