I hope that this particular paper will be in stock for a long time to come. The paper is a nice sturdy weight to work with. The wood-grain is perfect for vintage black and white photos or other projects where you'd like a woody or subtle background that complements rather competes with the photos being used in the project. Surely I will order more as I immediately found a use for the paper beyond what I had originally ordered it for!

The detail on this paper is stunningly realistic. I was looking for something to use in vintage farm-related photographs. Far too many of the scrapbook papers created for farm or country scenes is too cutesy for my taste so I decided to try this paper. Admittedly I was a bit unsure how to proceed with layout as I was afraid of losing the wonderful detail of the paper as I had several photos I needed to showcase rather than 1 large one but in the end I was satisfied with my final result. I would definitely order this paper again as I have other projects in mind for it!

First off, green is my favorite color so my eye was immediately attracted to this paper. I like the simple subtle shade and design of this paper and found it one of the easiest scrapbook papers I've used so far. I decided to use it to create a 2-page spread that came together effortlessly. I was working with vintage photos from the 1970s and this paper suited the colors in the photos so nicely. I was so pleased that I immediately order a couple of more pages of this paper for a future project.

I was really happy to find this scrapbook paper -- along with it's mate, "Anthology". "Ancestors" shows a large old tree on the right side of the page with branches leaning to the left. "Anthology" shows a slightly different old tree (or perhaps the other half of the same tree) on the left side of the page with branches leaning toward the right. Together it's easy to create a beautiful 2-page spread as the underlying text flows smoothly across the pages, evoking feelings of heritage, nostalgia, and family. I found the scrapbook paper very easy to work with and the project came together quickly as I had an heirloom sepia family photo to work with and memories of my old childhood yard with numerous old-growth deciduous trees to work from. The weight of the paper is very nice too. All in all, I was extremely happy with this purchase.

I was really happy that I found this paper and an accompanying design of another large old tree with a slightly different growth pattern facing right to left, called Ancestor, for use in a 2-page family heritage spread. The background old typewriter-style print evokes the feeling of heritage, ancestors, and nostalgia with full lines of print, like: "ancestor old photographs down memory lane heirloom legacy Mother yesterday". Although I'm still very new to scrapbooking, I found the page I was working on very easy to assemble, which is a testament to the design elements of this paper.

As the other reviewer noted, this line is so fun to work with and it's easy to find so many projects that it works well with. I also love it and am sure to order more sheets.

I was a bit worried about what the design would actually look like so only ordered 1 sheet for starters. As it turned out, it was absolutely perfect for the first page that I had in mind, as well as, for a few more projects that I needed a background design for. All of these scrapbook projects have photos with red brick buildings in them and this page wonderfully compliments them. I'll be back to order more pages!

This paper was so much fun to work with! Both sides are great and easy to find uses for. I started with 4 sheets but will soon need to order more. It makes what I'm currently working on flow so comprehensively smooth in lay-out design.
