Deisgning With Design Studio (01 May 2010)

Have a Cricut? Baby Bug, Create, Expression? Even Cricut Cake? If you do, then you need Design Studio. Design Studio, or DS, lets you weld shapes to create your own designs, you can weld letters together to create words. However, the best feature I have found on it is that you can accurately measure what you need so that you're not cutting several times just to get the right size. This wastes both blade and cardstock, no?

Design Studio eliminates that. You can measure the area you need the title, then create your title in DS so that it fits that space. SO easy! Also if you are creating a layered character, you can lay all the pieces out on the mat, cut your cardstock accordingly, and cut all the pieces out in one fell cut.

Personally, I cannot seem to operate my Cricut anymore without Design Studio.

Deliciously Sweet Chipboard Alphabet (02 May 2009)

I love this alphabet, it's very basic and works for most any layout, card, or project you can create. Basic Grey's chipboard is inkable, distressable, Stickle-able, paintable, glitter-able...it's ready for anything you can put on it! They also coordinate well with everything else Basic Grey. I have this one and another of Basic Grey's chipboard alphabets, and I just adore them!

    I'm In Love...With a Bug!!! (19 September 2008)

If I could've given this product 10 stars, I would have. It is the best thing I've bought for my scrapping/cardmaking. Ever.

It has so many useful features, with the main one being able to cut up to 12x24. It allows you to expand your crafting to making your own scalloped paper and lace cardstock (with the help of Design Studio).

If I'm not using Design Studio, I love being able to move the blade to start cutting exactly where I want it to cut. And then there's cutting in portrait mode, fitting to the page, fitting to the length of the mat (for the larger mats), and being able to cut multiples of the same item all at once.

And then there's the multicut feature. With this feature, you can cut slightly thicker cardstocks, like Bazzill Bling, and even thin chipboard. I have cut thin chipboard, think the thickness of two or three cereal boxes, in my Cricut on multicut 4x.

There is so much to say about this product, and it's all positive, glowing praise. The Cricut Expression is by far the best investment I have made for my scrapbooking/cardmaking hobby.
