C-leaper's Reviews

  • Great for infobits! (06 October 2009)

I love using these little tags for the "who-what-where-when" info for a layout. They're big enough for a name, place or date, but not so big that they overwhelm the rest of the LO. They can be a little tricky to use with ribbon (depending on what you cut them from), but I'll often use paper strips instead of ribbon, so it coordinates with the rest of the design better.

Love my Slice!! (07 June 2009)

I've always liked the flourishes on LOs and wanted to use more of my own, but never found JUST the right one. With the BS3 card, I can get the right flourish, in the right size, in the right color to match the rest of my LO. I'm completely sold on Slice. (Like the price, too!)

    FINALLY! (04 April 2009)

I'm not great at freehand doodling, so I'm always looking for templates of general swirls and flourishes. Capricious is GREAT for what I need - several different sizes, a couple different looks, and easy to "dress up" with extra flowers, bling or Stickles. This will definitely be a favorite tool for me.

    Great Versatility (06 January 2009)

I love to use flowers, but never seem to have just the right color. But with this set, I can make my own flowers out of coordinating papers, stick them together with a brad in the center, and voila! I also don't have the problem of "puffy vs. flat" - silk flowers that make an envelope thicker to start with, but that may flatten as they go through the mailing process so they're no longer pretty when they arrive at their destination. This way, the flower starts out flat, yet stacking the sizes together gives it some dimension, too.

I see myself using this set a lot in the months to come.

Love This Stack! (03 May 2008)

So far, this stack is about half-gone. :) I love the variety of subjects for little boys...the sweet ones for little girls...the bright'n'bold pages for teen girls...bright'n'bold in boy colors. It's great for working on my DGS' albums (he's still a toddler) as well as my DD's albums...both the pages about when she was little and even the pretty pink pages for now. And the colors are basic enough that it's easy to find other papers or cardstock to use as photo mats in complimentary colors. Thanks, DCWV!
