    Great !! But... (26 July 2007)

These are great arrows. Heavy weight cardstock, great arrow shapes and designs and they are all fun patterns. They match more than just the Scenic Route Laurel Collection. And after you're done punching out the arrows and using them, the left over makes a great template for making more arrows. However, in my opinion, there is just one drawback to this cute product: they are hard to punch out and tear easily if you're not really careful.

  • Has a learning curve... but very useful ! (12 July 2007)

OK, I have the Design Runner. Yes, I like it but it's not one of those tools that you can use right out of the box. It takes a bit of getting used to and practice before you can use it straight onto a layout. You must practice the speed at which you move it across the paper and a ruler to keep it straight is helpful. However, with that said, it's really a lot of fun and versatile because you can print right onto your paper wherever you choose. I have found that the discs with art/words/sayings are better than the font ones. I rarely use the font discs I have because the letters have to be printed seperately and you can't string them together. I am hoping to get the tool that goes with the Design Runner that allows you to make your own discs, which will lend even greater versatility to this product. I would recommend the Design Runner to those who are willing to practice learning how to use it. I also think it would be perfect for card makers because of the amount of discs available with sayings.

  • Was hesitant but glad I bought it !! (11 July 2007)

Since I already have die cutting machines, I didn't think I needed the Cricut added to my ever growing list of tools. I'm very glad that I purchased it because I love the versatility of it. I also like the fact that you can print on any size of paper and it's easy to use right out of the box. The cartridges that you purchase seperately are unique, which is something that I look for. I don't like things that look like everything else. I would recommend buying the tool kit as sometimes smaller pieces are hard to remove from the cutting mat.
