Rebecca And The Pugs's Reviews

  • love these letters! (27 September 2008)

I bought these letters at a local scrapbook store and love the texture they add to my layouts. I even purchased them in pink and brown. Don't let the price hold you back. The metal letters really add to the layout and they are a nice size on a 12x12 page.

  • Love this! (14 September 2008)

I love my Craft Mates caddy. I actually have two of them- one for eyelets and snaps and one for buttons and other small embellishments. I like how I can open up each individual compartment instead of the whole row. The caddies fit easily in my crop bag. I think it is a great organizational investment.

  • a must have (30 July 2008)

This is a must have block for your scrapbook supplies. If you are purchasing any of the 12x12 Fancy Pants clear stamps, you will need this block to accomodate the larger corner stamps. The grids allow for easy and accurate placement and the weight of the block feels comfortable in your hand. I would be lost without this block.

  • my newest addition (30 July 2008)

This is such a fun set to keep in my scrapbook bag. I love the fun doodles and corner stamps in this set. The flourishes are always welcome additions to my layouts. I love how easy clear stamps are to use and even the 12x12 size does not take up much room in my scrapbook tote. This is one of my go-to sets.

My favorite pen (30 July 2008)

I use this pen on almost every layout I do. I love the way it writes. It glides across photos, it does fantastic doodling on pages, it adds unexpected journaling blocks... I buy at least 2 every time I see them, as they can be rather difficult to find. I have wasted money on other white pens, but no more. This is one that is always in my scrapbook bag.

    What a find! (25 July 2008)

I have had my eye on the Magpie tins for quite a while at my local scrapbook store. They sell the set of 3 tins for $9.99. Imagine my surprise when I saw this incredible deal at Scrapbook.com... Three sets of Magpie tins and the wooden storage shelf, for the price of three sets at my local scrapbook store! I had three quickutz binders full of dies, and all of the dies fit into the nine magpie tins. I guess it is made to sit on your table, as there are no wall hangers included. That is easy fixed with a trip to my hardware store. This is a great deal!

Edited to add: I know why there is no mounting hardware. It is pretty heavy when the tins are totally filled with the dies. I think you can still hang it, but you will need anchors to hold it.

  • A Must Have! (21 July 2008)

I bought this item a couple of years ago because my local scrapbook store has them on her tables. It is fantastic. I can have my drink and garbage bag handy and never have to worry about condensation on the table or an accidental spill. I have two of them in my scrapbook room. This product makes a great gift for a fellow scrapooker as well. It was one of the best investments I have made.

My favorite scissors (21 July 2008)

This pair of scissors was one of my first scrapbooking purchases years ago. I cannot do a layout without these. I can cut the most intricate patterns with the micro-tip. The spring loaded handle make it easy to use. They are always in my scrapbook bag. I have purchased many of these as gifts for new scrappers because they always want to borrow mine at crops and classes. This pair has been a very good investment.

  • Love this bag! (20 July 2008)

I bought this tote at a local scrapbook store for my work laptop. I have received so many compliments on the way it looks. It has lots of great pockets to store things and the color is fantastic! It looks really professional. I am really glad I invested in this bag.

  • Great Bag! (20 July 2008)

I bought this bag as a companion bag to my Mimi large tote. It holds a lot of supplies. Many times, if I am working on a small project, I will just bring this tote with me. My friend even bought one to match her Mimi tote as well. This bag has lots of pockets inside to hold embellishments and tools. It also has loops to hold pens. I am really glad that I invested in my Mimi products!

  • Love this bag! (20 July 2008)

The first cropping tote I bought wasn't big enough. This is the perfect size. It fits in my Beetle, yet holds a lot of goodies for cropping. I love how it flattens for storage, although mine usually remains packed at all times. I liked it so much, I bought my friend the lilac one for her birthday. It has lots of pockets and compartments to hold lots of embellishments and tools. This Mimi tote is a great investment.

  • Love this Baby Scrap Can! (20 July 2008)

I purchased this a few months ago at a local scrapbook store and it is such a great investment! It fits easily in my crop bag and I never have to worry about garbage bags being close by. I love the color. My friend bought one too. I never leave for a crop without it stashed in my bag.

Love these dots! (19 August 2008)

After many years of using double sided foam to pop things up, these are a life saver! I always have them in my scrapbook bag. They are easy to use and very strong. I have even cut them in half or quarters when I have had smaller things to pop up, such as flowers or buttons. They work great and I always recommend them to my friends.

  • great set (10 August 2008)

This was the first Technique Tuesday set I purchased and it is one of my go to sets. The stamps look great stamped on cardstock. For extra dimension, I will cut out the stamped cardstock images and mount them on my layout, often using pop dots to give it a raised look. I love how many clear stamps I can put in my scrapbook bag without taking up much space. This is a great investment set that will get alot of use in layouts.

  • great stamp, great price (30 July 2008)

I bought this stamp because I loved the fun stripes on the popsicles. The price made me buy all of the different ones they had available at my scrapbook store. It is a great size for cardmaking and for use in my scrapbooks. I love my rubber stamps, but for the price and the convenience of storage, you just cannot beat the clear stamps.

  • Great design! (25 July 2008)

I bought this punch after seeing a card sample in the Spring Issue of the Stamper's Sampler Take Ten magazine and then there was also another example in the Summer Issue of the Take Ten magazine. The artists didn't use this exact punch, but their card samples inspired me to use this punch with some of my patterned paper scraps. It is easy to use and I was able to punch out many shapes in a short amount of time. It thought it was a great investment.

  • Fun Product (25 July 2008)

I was a little skeptical about this punch because it doesn't look like any of my other punches. However, the paw print shape was calling my name. It punches out really well and is very easy to use. I haven't purchased other Fiskars punches yet, but I will in the future. The shape is really cute.

  • A Pink Case! (21 July 2008)

I bought the Pink Crop-A-Dile from a local scrapbook store and was really bummed with the green ones came with a case. However, I quickly found the pink case. Yes, I could have stored my Crop-A-Dile without a case, but it is so much more fun to have it stored in a matching case with 400 bonus eyelets! It makes it so much easier to store and find in my scrapbook room now.

Great Scrapbooking Tool! (21 July 2008)

I saw this ruler in the magazines and had to find it. Most of the local scrapbooking stores didn't have it in stock yet. I finally found it and bought it right away. I love the pink color. I have been able to make some fun curved shapes on my layouts. It is usually in my scrapbook bag, just in case I need it. It holds the shape really well.

  • Great for Crops! (20 July 2008)

I purchased this at a local scrapbook store because when I go to a crop, my stuff ends up everywhere. This keeps all of my stuff contained on the table and makes clean up much faster. I love how it folds flat, so I can stick it in my Mimi Tote. The color is great too. A must have accessory to go with this is the Croppin Cutie Baby Scrap Can. The price for this on Scrapbook.com is a great one. I paid much more for it at the local scrapbook store, even on sale.

    Embellishment Center (28 June 2008)

I have 2 of these in my scrapbook room and I love them. I took out the ribbon rods because I needed the extra space. It hold all kinds of things. I have my paint on one and my glitters on the other. I have dressed the shelves up with little Longaberger baskets that hold embellishments, as well as recycled candle jars. This was a great find and well worth the investment.

  • MM Clear Stamp Holders (28 June 2008)

I love these things. They hold my Autumn Leaves Clear Stamps perfectly. I have the MM storage binder, but it only holds 6 storage folders (12 sets of stamps), so that was a waste of $ to me. However, I can clip these folders on my Clip It Up and it works perfectly.

  • The Jury is Still Out (21 July 2008)

I still am not sure if I like this ribbon storage system or not. It looks great in the pictures, but mine looks like a jumbled mess. After seeing mine, my friends have not been eager to purchase their own. The ribbons are convenient, but even though I have tried to keep colors together in the sections, it is still difficult to find the ribbon I need. It is convenient to take with me, I will give it that credit.
