Less than impressed (24 April 2008)

I ordered this product based on the picture and the bazzill name. That wasn't wise on my part.

I am less than impressed with the quality. Many (11 of 30) of the flowers have rough edges or uncrisp embossing. Two were folded in the package and can't be unfolded without a permanent (unsightly) crease. The flowers that are well-cut and well-embossed and which weren't folded during packaging are very nice. I *love* the shade of brown included. And while I expected red (my mistake - my monitor must be off), the shade of rust is very nice as well. These 6 shades make for a very versatile package of flowers... but the quality issues make me reluctant to recommend them or to purchase them again.

In case your monitor is off, the six included colors are white, chocloate brown, rust, pastel yellow, pastel pink, and pastel turquoise (not quite blue).

Further inspection of the package clarifies that this is a bazzill *inspired* product. NOT A BAZZILL PRODUCT. So... certainly noone should think less of Bazzill because of the quality issues with this product.

    A great portable trimmer (05 April 2008)

I'm so glad not to have wavy cuts any more!

    1. It cuts straight every time. Make sure your paper is pushed up against the lip on the top of the cutter and that the magnet in the arm has clicked into place and you're all set.

    2. The extendable ruler goes out to 15" and it has markings all the way to 15". Even my big fiskars only has markings out to 11 1/2 inches.

    3. The clear arm allows you to see what you are cutting which is great for cropping photos.

    4. The 3 1/2 inches (with markings from 1 5/8" to 3 1/2") to right of the blade comes in very handy.

My only complaints are that the the ruler is not well marked for the 1 5/8 inches just to the right of the blade and that replacement mats can be hard to find.... but they carry them here.

    Add a little sparkle! (14 March 2008)

I used Crystal Stickles to add some sparkle to my Bring it on! layout. The glitter in crystal reminds me of the colors in bubbles - irridiscent pale green, blue, and lavendar. The glue is very easy to control and dried much more quickly than I expected.
