  • Fun To Decorate! (01 October 2007)

I recently have gotten hooked on altering items so I was chomping at the bit to get my hands on one of these little houses. I finally got to decorate one over the weekend. The instructions were easy to understand and for the most part pretty clear. The stairs were a little tricky to figure out but once I did I felt a little "duh". The next house will go together a lot faster, I'm sure!
Some of the parts didn't really want to stick very well so I would highly suggest using the hot glue gun as they suggest. I used Zip Dry and it did pretty well but that chipboard is really thick and strong!
Overall this was a really fun project and I will be doing the larger house next. Now that I have done one under my belt, I'm sure the next one will go together much faster and smoother :).

Must have for your scrapbook tool kit! (29 September 2007)

With chipboard being such a craze that doesn't seem to be every going away, I am soooo glad I purchased this kit. It was so nice to have the BasicGrey Precisions files when I was working on my Grandma's mini album and was doing a lot of wallpapering. I was able to file off the overlap and give the book a nice clean look. It also works great for getting into the nooks and crannies when wallpapering the chipboard letters and flourishes. I also use mine to distress photos. I give this product my two thumbs up - big time!

Mini books are wonderful! (25 September 2007)

I have had so much fun with the Bo Bunny 6x6 mini album. I created a memory book for my Grandma's 90th b-day and it was the perfect size for the old photos and number of photos I had. It was so nice that I was able to complete a whole album and have the family look through it at her party. I'm sure this will be a book she'll look at over and over. I had also purchased the clear page protectors for that added security.

    Awesome stuff! (25 September 2007)

I have found my new love in scrapbooking! Now that I am getting into the mini albums made out of chipboard and altering other items, I just love Mod Podge! It really adheres the paper to the chipboard but you do have to be careful to to put it on too thick or it could cause the paper to bubble. I found that if I start at a corner and work the paper down, it goes on nice and smooth. I noticed that I'm now reaching for this for even my scrapbook pages and for smaller elements.

    I'm so glad I bought this! (25 September 2007)

This is one of those tools I thought was not a necessity. But, since I've bought it, it is one of the first tools I reach for. Out of curiosity I wanted to see if it would punch a hole in one of the Prima pencil holders I purchase and it did with such ease even my hubby was impressed. I love the guides on it as it lets you punch even holes and takes a lot of the guess work out of it. I'm soo glad I bought this tool!

Another must have tool! (11 August 2007)

The great part about this tool is that you don't have to squeeze it together to hold something. I use it to place sticker letters in place and it also works well for placing those bling gems on your LO's. This tool has become another must have in my tool box!

Love this tool! (11 August 2007)

I bought this tool after I took a beginner class for scrapbooking and it's been my favorite tool ever since! I actually used my first one so much that I wore it out and had to replace it. I use this tool for everything from piercing paper for a brad to helping pull a thread through after sewing on a page to cleaning out the tip of my glue bottle. I'd be so lost with out this tool!
