This seems to be a typical weekend morning - the girls playing in the backyard while I take pics and my dh shoots video or vice versa. Just one of those everyday things... 15x12 lo (12x15 turned on its side). Thanks for taking a look!
Journaling:
"It was a typical Sunday morning. The girls were in the backyard playing with whatever caught their eyes. Pappa was on the phone with his parents and siblings catching up on the latest happenings in our household and I was following the girls around with the camera. Anna Liv and Mia Karine just discovered the side yard. A plethora of rocks, sticks and dirt! They were mesmerized and completely taken with the possibilities. With plastic tubs in hand, they dropped their new treasures in, one by one. The sound and the vibration of the rocks hitting each other in the buckets, the heaviness of the container once filled; all caused such memorable looks of consternation and confusion. Walking amongst the bed of rocks was not an easy task. In fact, once they found a good spot, they sat. Anna Liv was especially frustrated with the unevenness of the ground and often looked up to me for a helping hand only to find that Mommy was preoccupied with the camera. So, my repetitive requests for her to “look at Mommy" were largely ignored. Guess that even babies have their own way of showing their irritation and getting a small taste of revenge.
Eventually, as the schedule would have it, it was time to go inside for their morning naps. They did not protest the usual climb up the stairs for naptime perhaps because they knew it was Sunday; Pappa would be there to indulge them in a little bit more playtime in their bedroom before being confined to their cribs. They knew that Pappa enjoyed playing a few rounds of peek-a-boo with them for a few minutes. Sunday, June 26, 2005"
