SHCG: I was so surprised to see this, as this has been on the news everyday, of course since it's in my neck of the woods. Even more, is how glad I am that it meant that much to someone to scrap about it. She was so regal, and you've definitely captured her beauty here. Those hearts are great. I love the white outlining, and I absolutely love the black on black with your title work done in black cs and then outlined in white. I'm still pretty upset about this incident and will be pming you my own thoughts, if you care to swap.
SHCG: You know, I heard about this, but didn't really know many details until I checked out this LO and felt compelled to google it. I'm glad you did this LO in remembrance of her. I love your subtle touches of tiger patterns on this LO and the gold hearts really give it that little something.
SHCG: I absolutely love all of the hearts on this one. The black cs in the background, with just a few accents of white and gold hearts looks amazing. I love how you did the pictures from baby to adult with emphasis on the oldest picture. Love the envelope idea for the journaling
SHCG: girl this is simply beautiful! I have added to my favs! I tend to really be drawn to pages done with black paper because it gives such a dramatic effect and again you have nailed this one!
SHCG - Wow, this is stunning. I'm so intrigued about your journaling now. It's incredible you saw her in Denver. This is such a dramatic LO, love the placement, black background, white doodling, hearts & tiger pp. Such a tiny thing to critique, but I kind of wish the left margin was just a smidge wider, to show a band of photo underneath like the photo on the right does (I know, minuscule thang but SHCG membership has turned me into a margin weirdo). But sincerely, this is an amazing page as is. You are on a scrafting hot streak, girlfriend!
I love this. The hearts are great and the photos are wonderful. I'm glad you didn't post the journaling b/c it would probably make me cry. What a sad event. I feel terrible for her. Great lo!
Beautiful Lo great job alot of people do nto look at animals the same once they have done such an awful thing. but at one time she was sweet as can be I am sure.
IT IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL LO. I'M LOVING THE EMPLY SPACE. AND THE PIC OF THE FUR IS A GREAT TOUCH. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT THE ZOO, BUT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL.
OMG quick and simple...that would have taken me days....hee hee hee.....this is simply beautiful......I love your photos....love how the last one on the right is arranged differently.....love the envelope with the fur...and the hearts r such a nice touch......really cool LO!!!!
What a beautiful LO and how very special!! I feel so bad about this event and know this beautiful creature is having a wonderful time with her creator...Would love to see the look on my Coppers face when she meets
these wonderful "Wild" creatures at the Rainbow Bridge
Wonderful photos!!!
This layout is gorgeous. I'm sorry I'm not aware about the SF incident (I don't live in the States) but I'm an animal lover as well! You did a wonderful job!
Just a quick simple one here. This is Tatiana, the tiger from the SF Zoo incident on Christmas. I went to see her when she born at the Denver Zoo. The event at the SF Zoo really had an impact on me, so I decided to do a layout about her. The journaling is hidden in the envelope, but I have decided not to post my journaling here. TFL!
