This is the story of when my younger DS got a full shovel of sand in his eye! We were at a cabin in the country so we couldn't take him to an ER or a doctor or anything, so we had to clean out his eye ourselfs! It was terrible, but we got directions from a doctor over the phone and it all went well, but sand was coming out of his eye for a couple of more days and he looked pretty crooked with a small purple shadow under his eye.
