This lay out amazes me! I have been sitting here just staring and studying every little detail! LOL!
I even enlarged it! I was thinking is it a digi? So tell me did you dot all those dots with stickles? For real? Well this is the coolest lay out of a son and his cat! I really do love it all! And the photo is priceless! Love the red claw covers! And your son has the prettiest blue eyes!
A 20# cat? Now I need to go weigh my big black cat. He looks like Eric cat, except he has 6/7 in. bright white whiskers and eyebrows. He does NOT have red claws though. Are they just for 'glamor' or do they serve a purpose? Luv to you...
20 pound cat .... WOW! And I don't think I've ever heard of the claw tips ... hehehe... how original though!! I bet he loved this page, cuz he sure seems to love that cat. loved the story too! And I hope you added someplace about the claw tips!!
Ok, so I am completely and totally impressed with your screws. They look so lifelike. I thought you had somehow dismembered the screw head from the body and put the heads on the page. I love this design with the circles, screws and gears. It gives such a great masculine feel. Totally adorable photo with the cute matting and embellies. Love it all.
Wow..what a fun layout..lots of cool stuff. Love the photo and the way it is matted..cool screws and gears and stuff and i love the kitty silhouette and the red claws crack me up.
LORI!!! Love this! The red claws and the red in the lo works so well!!! This has me lol this morning~~~
The screws are awesome, internet?
Soooo, do the claw covers really work???
Great colors, Lori, sweet photo. I really like the photo corner embellie! ANd the 3D screws on pop dots add so much masculinity and texture~ I like the matted letters and dbl matting on the photo of Michael & Elric. xxx
Very cool! Such pretty colors. Love the screws and gears. Did you find those screws in a LSS or did you or someone in your family saw the tops off? Anyway, great colors and a very masculine LO. Pretty cat too.
Lori, What a fabulous lo! Love the letters and the pps blend so well with the photo. Your son is so handsome and you can positively tell you are his mom!
Now this is way to cute! Next time someone tells me my cat is fat I can tell them yours is 20 pounds.. lol Mischief (in one of my layouts) is a mere 15 pounds so he's skinny compared.. hahaha I'm just telling myself that to make myself feel better. lol I have those screw brads too aren't they cool??? I used them on our house building layout (I haven't uploaded it here) I did a page with 9 pictures.. all through the stages from the empty dug hole to the finished house and each picture I used paper that looks like pressed wood and the screws in each corner.. They were so fitting. I love them to.. Now just have to figure out where to use the rest lol.
You've done great work on this page!
How cute, Lori... Great colors, screw brads ( I have to check those out), and that die cut corner is awesome. ... Your layout and picture are fantastic.
I just LOVE it!!!!!! Fantastic pic of Michael and Elric!! Love that photocorner and the screws are such a nice touch!! Love the bright colours and the way you did the circle with the cat!! As always your attention to detail is amazing!! By the way...love your little dots!!! LOL!!!! Didn't know you get those little plastic covers for their nails..what a GOOD idea!!!
Wow Lori, this is a really nice page!!! So many beautiful details to look at. Love the gears and the screws (are those brads?) and of course the wonderful picture. Is it just me, or is a 20 lb cat really big?
Great layout. Love the colors. My kitty looks like this kitty. We used to put pink nails on her. I stopped because I glued myself to her one day!! That was a scary several minutes.
My son, Michael, and his 20 lb cat. Wherever Michael goes, Elric is sure to follow him. Yes, Elric's claws are covered with red plastic tips. And, he has them in different colours, too!
The little white dots on the photo mat (covered with Stickles) were inspired by the very talented and creative CathyLane, my dear friend. Thanks, Cathy, for the inspiration!
All the screws are 3-D with pop dots and covered with clear glass finish (hard to tell here, look pretty cool IRL).
Silhouette - gears, cat silhouette, photo corner Cricut - title (George cart) photo corner - Internet screws - copied from the Internet and enhanced with coloured pencils and topped with clear glass finish Anna Griffin - clear glass finish Fiskars - 1/8" circle punch pp's - Scenic Route Stickles chalk
