This lo is of my ds during her school years. These are the years in which one really starts to develop her own identity, separate from her families, so I thought it was important to include this page in her Memorial Album.
The lo itslef was very easy to do digitally. The apples are clipart from the Internet, and all I added after the print-out was the ribbon. I did put the abcs on the ribbon myself with MM Heidi rub-ons.
The journaling says:
"The hesitant smiles in her school photos give a hint of Diane’s struggles in school.
Diane had trouble with reading, and she spent many hours in a reading lab, but she didn’t complain.
In fact, she looked at the bright side of things, and was happy with her progress through the years.
Diane did herself, and all of us proud by hanging tough and staying positive. She even went on to college."
