So.....I'd been bugging Dan to take me to a castle- preferably in Europe or Ireland. Real stuff. King Arthur stuff. He'd been stationed overseas in Germany during his service days and had seen all that and wasn't keen on going back. One day I will do that, but in the meantime, I found that there was a "castle" in Toronto Canada. One of the itens on my bucket list was going to Niagra Falls- and guess what was close to them?? That's right- Casa Loma- the castle of North America. On this page is the outside of the castle. But the inside? OMG! Throughout the tour, I kept saying, " This is ridiculous! No one needs this much room!" But it was beautiful. Marble, woodwork, stained glass, gardens, fountains- heck, even the servants were treated much better than the times dictated. If you're ever in the area- check it out. So worth the time. Thank you, babe, but I still want to go to Europe. :)
