Terrific layout. I like the background pp and the border around the picture block. the rick rack is a nice touch. I think your pictures are so beautiful that I am not sure anything else is really needed. REally wonderful page!
maybe a big title (thicker size) on the right, but all the pictures are beautiful and look great the way you embellished and doodled them, the pocket + tag looks really nice =D
This layout looks great! If you think it's missing something how about adding some random buttons over the corner of the top right photo, then a few more under the corner of the scenery photo under your DH's pic.
i would add some eye candy around the pictures.. maybe outline the pics in black felt to make them stand out abit more..maybe outline the card stock as well with black felt... otherwise this rocks !!
I really like the design and the colors and the pp you used, Your eyelet flower center is great. To me your layout looks finished with the stitching around the photo. Sometimes less is best.
Great photos...how weird to taste something that is several thousand years old.
I really like this page that you have made. I usually just keep adding and sometimes end up wishing I hadn't. So I think it would be fine to keep it the way it is. The only thing I would consider is maybe adding some stamped swirls? I can see two or three small ones being used to add some softness to the page. But either way, the page looks great!!!
This layout is not yet complete, but I have no idea how to finish it. I'm really hoping someone will give me some direction. I'd like to put more little scraps of stuff around the edges of the photo clump, but I'm just not sure. Should I introduce another colour? Also, I'm new to eyelets and not sure I like how I attached the rickrack to the centre of the flower. Should I have used another kind of ribbon? Should I have made it longer? Shorter? I want it to stick out of the top of the scrapbook so it can be used to pull the tag out.
At St Anthony's we took a boat tour that took us out to one of the huge icebergs off the coast. We also passed by a few smaller ones that were closer to land. We actually got really close to the big one (a bit too close for my comfort level!) and the tour guide grabbed us some of the ice that had fallen off it (they call those "bergy-bits" and DH is eating several-thousand-year-old ice in one of the pics!
