I did lots of new things on this layout. I applied yellow paint using a roller thingy that makes a torn screen pattern. After getting some inspiration from MandaK's gallery, I applied distress stickles to various elements. The blue crepe paper ribbon "flower" is a bit of a bust. I was trying to make it into a flower, but didn't really have a plan, so I ended up just crumpling it and gluing it until it made a circle-y shape. Also... i SEWED for the first time! and it was So much fun! I'll definitely be doing more of that! Everything is from the Scarlet Lime January kit except the rub-on letters that spell "tradition" which are from the dollar store.
