This page – rich in girly colours and soft, feminine embellishments – is devoted to my wonderful younger sister, who appears here as a wee little toddler. She was such a sweet, incredibly well natured, immensely loving baby, and – as the journaling delves into – she still holds all of these qualities, while also having developed many other admirable traits over the years.
For some reason, when I think of my sister, I'm often reminded of beautiful birds soaring free and gracefully, so I incorporated four (Martha Stewart) punched swallow shapes from the background paper to express the connection that I tie between the two in my mind.
