This is wonderful!! I love the old pics and this layout!! I love how you connected the lines!!! As someone who is an avid genealogist that is so important!! Great job!!
This is my Dad's side to the left and My Mums side on the right of the matching page 2. I decided to use strings to connect the pictures to the relevant lineage so my children can follow the lines. My Great Nan Rand lived to 93 so I was very blessed to meet her and spend alot of time with her. I haven't included alot of pictures in this layout as I still have to go and visit my Nan and take scanner in tow and maybe spend a great deal of time scanning the 100's of photos she has kept. I really wish I had of been able to do this along time ago as alot of the little details have been forgotten and I wish I had of known what to ask back then when my Poppy was alive still. I don't have alot of photos so I've just put in names and tags where relevant, YAY me, one more page down, now to get stuck into DH's side ! I wasn't going to go back as far as I could with these pages, I just wanted some photos of my parents, parents kind of thing to show a lineage to the boys, so they feel grounded in roots that are rich, if you know what I mean. I think having a rich history can give a special feeling of belonging and that is something I wanted to include in their baby books for them to have. made using Country kids kit
