I found this first day of school picture in a stack and realized I hadn't scrapped ‘the first day’ yet. I decided to create panels and do a little something fun on each one. On the first the title with a little hand stitching. Second, the photo. Next, a journaling sticker that I stitched some lines on. Followed by a tag that I covered in decorative tape, then with masking tape, then sequins and finally a wooden star. And last, several journaling labels with a flag. I used cardstock on the first page and a calendar patterned paper on the second. To tie the two together I wrapped the edges with masking tape. Love that you can still see the patterned paper through it.
