Not the most creative use of the egg shape, but I added an egg to the inside sentiment and decorated the envelopes with an egg stamp. I made a total of 6 cards with various papers and washi tapes but raced the other 4 to the PO today before I got a picture! The first two pictures are cards, next is the inside, and the envelopes. I included a picture of the stamp press. I haven't used it much but it came in handy today and I plan to use it more often! The rabbit and spring sentiment are two separate stamps and the press allowed me to line them up once and stamp over and over. The last picture is the mask I made to add the carrot to the rabbit's hand. I included the picture because normally I probably would have just cut out the arm, or cut out the entire image. It made masking so much easier when I had a bigger piece to handle, and match up. For this project it wasn't necessary to fussy cut the whole image.Printed paper : Prima Nursery TalesWashi tape : unknown, pink stripe and blue grid are washiStamps : Rabbit, carrot and “celebrate spring” are Character Constructions; butterfly is from Inkadinkado Insect Inchie set, inside egg, Easter sentiment are bunny on the envelope are from Hero Arts, April set; egg on the envelope front is Purple Onion Designs.Ink : Colorbox fluid chalk rose coral and French blue, Ranger Archival coffeeI colored the carrot with chalk and a blender pen.
