I really like this LO; and it is very interesting to see that you are in the same province I am. Keep up the good work - it is enjoyable to see people's LO. Also how to create a LO for one's parents to celebrate their years together as well.
Oh Wow Kelly! This is so perfectly pretty, romantic & lovely. I think it turned out positively perfect in every way! Congrats To Your Parents & Congrats on preserving such a special memory & moment in time! XO
What a beautiful way to commemorate your parents' wonderful milestone! I love the colour scheme, and all your work on the artisan swirl - it looks like an heirloom piece!!

Well, Kelly, you have really put a lot of work into this beautiful page....a work "of heart"! What a blessing to witness a strong, committed couple celebrate their 50th anniversary. I love the purple and gold you used; they are regal colors. The doily and hearts add whimsy, and the gold pen, frame, roses and Artisan ELement add elegance. I am sure they will be thrilled with this heritage page! xx
Another stunner, Kelly. Congratulations to your parents. What a wonderful milestone. I love the way you celebrated with this gorgeous page. Just lovely. Your stitching and details knock me out! Love the framing of the photo. Wow.

Oh, WOW, KELLY!!!!! I love this LOVELY LO you did for your parents!!! You have framed the wonderful photograph so perfectly......and even though you've included many gorgeous embellies, they don't distract from the photo, in any way!!! Well, girlfriend....it looks like you were up to your elbows in ink and paint! Now, I've got to get some of those Pink Paislee swirls!!! And.....you've made me want to drop everything and GO SCRAPBOOK! Congratulations to your parents on their 50 years of marriage!!!
Yesterday was my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary, so I decided to finally get my act together and create a lo for them to celebrate the occasion. :) The photo was taken as they walked down in the aisle in church after their ceremony, and I just like this candid shot much better than the other posed photographs they have. I also altered this pic in Photoshop using a vintage action because the original was a very crisp black and white and not "romantic" enough for me! ha ha ha What says romance better than Prima....you can see I used a lot on this page. The lace (from my dear friend nfldmichelle!) around the oval mat is colored slightly with gold metallic paint. I also spent some time fooling around with the Pink Paislee Artisan Element (at top left corner of photo). First I smooched it, then I distress inked it...and still not satisfied, I ended up using eggplant alcohol ink. That worked! LOL! I did add some Prima bling on top, plus 2 grungeboard hearts painted gold, then handwrote my parents' initials (Walter and Sophie). The gold frame around the "50" is from Little Yellow Bicycle...and is actually embossed cardstock that looks totally like vintage metal!!! Found that in my lss last week! :) Thanks for looking!
