Photos from December 2009. Journaling: Christmas Eve we woke up to a coating of ice on everything. We wondered if we'd be able to go to Indiana, but by the time we were ready to leave, the roads were in good shape so it worked out alright. These are shots I took of my burning bushes outside the patio door with each individual branch encased in ice. They were so pretty. This is my example for my January Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: White. The LOs have to be predominantly white, and the twist is to use ONLY white except for the title and/or journaling. I did use white for my title, but I wrote my journaling in silver.

Also for the VLB Challenge to use glitter, Stickles, or sequins on a LO. I stenciled a pattern with molding paste on my bg cs and sprinkled loose white glitter on it while it was still wet. My title letters are glittered. I used a strand of white sequins to border the inner punched mat.

For the outer mat I used my new Spiral Arches set that I got for Christmas from my parents, and I tore off random chunks to distress it and show a little more of the molding paste behind it. I used Swirling Lace for the inner mat and distressed it also.
