What a neat idea! I am always afraid to decorate the outside of notebooks because I worry that when I use them over time, the decorations will get rubbed off and/or scuffed. Do you put anything on this to protect it? It looks almost too pretty to use! LOL!

Idea Binder

Since we're moving this summer, knew I had to get rid of my old craft magazines. So I went through all my magazines and pulled out the ideas I wanted to keep. I then bound them together using a Zutter Bind-it-all. The chipboard covers are decorated with some of my favorite paper scraps, leftover flowers and small bits of ribbon. I added cardstock as dividers in my binder and gave them names to help me locate specific projects (i.e Section 1 - Altered Art, Section 2 - Mini Books) and attached ribbon to the dividers.
The large flower is my latest "new technique". I used several circle punches, a sewing machine and some scissors to do this (Original idea in Paper Trends Apr-May 2007)
