Strips of PP with inked edges. ribbon, my own handmade envelope. All 3 snips are done with paint.
Journaling in envelope reads: "Your great greandfather, ******, has been cutting hair for over 50 years. His father was also a barber. He has been in the same building for all those many years. His register and many of his scissors and combs are the very ones his father used before him. He purchased his own chair, it is from 1957. The shop is filled with the odors from Vitalis (hair gel), shaving soap and cigars. In his 80's, he still goes to his shop daily, whether to sit near the window and read the paper, or to clip, groom and shave the same customers that have gone there for years."
