Oh LIZ!!! You were so cute in spite of the rice bowl cut!! At least your mom didn't give you the *mullet*...lol... (like me..sniff, sniff.. can't believe I just admitted that!!) You have such great layouts of your childhood past!!! You are SO inspiring me to do my childhood layouts!! Great work as always!
Love how u used the addy for the title: How cool is that?
My dh was standing here and he said cool car.... lol.
I just love your work, the stories you tell, and your colors are always so Vibrant and Rich...love those fabric strips underneath the journaling. I've never heard of Gin-X..If you read this, could you tell me what Gin-X is? and who carries this product.
I am LOL about the haircuts, because you reminded me that we called them "chili bowl" haircuts. I lived in Texas!! Hehehe. I love that Gin-X and your journaling!
You know I LOVELOVELOVE this photo of you two Liz- it is too adorable for words! Your idea to use the address as your title is brilliant!! The colors are so fresh and carefree and your stamping is just awesome!!!! Love this so much!

Liz......this is such a special lo!!! I love, love, love that picture, it reminds me of my childhood as well. I even like your hair!(your brother's does slightly resemble a rooster's crown the way it's blowing!!!!) The paper does go perfectly with the pic. GREAT job. (again!)
This is such a great lo! I love this paper and it reminds me of the good old days too! I love how you scrap pictures of your childhood I think I should go get some pictures from my moms house of me when I was young!
There's something about Gin-X that just makes me want to reminisce about the "good ol days." I love the bright summery colors of Ginger's new Desperately Seeking Susan." It inspired me to scrap a photo that captures memories of childhood summers. The journaling reads:
This photo was taken during the summer of 1978, in our backyard. I can look back now and laugh at our ridiculous “rice bowl” haircuts, but wasn’t such a laughing matter back then. Oh, how I longed for longer hair! I love that my brother’s hair is flying in the wind and looks like a cross between a roosters crown and a mohawk. I love that the photo captures the tail end of our dog, Bolly. How did we ever came up with that name still baffles me to this date. Most of all, I love this photo because it reminds me that, despite our awkwardness, growing up was a relatively carefree experience and I wouldn’t trade it in our childhood summers for anything in this world.
