My wonderful sister's adorable children...this layout was fun, because I actually wrote to them, rather than leaving a blank space for her to fill in later. I started with white cardstock and painted it, and also painted under the vellum to make the words pop.
The journaling reads:
This is my favourite picture of the three of you. The smiles on your faces are so big, they light up the whold picture. It amazes me how fast you're growing up. Even though it's only been a year for me, I see so many things changing, and it makes me happy and sad at the same time. Sometimes I wish I could be there to watch you grow up and become the people who you're going to be.
And since I can't, I want you to have this message from me. Dream big! There isn't any limit to what you can be, or what you can do. No matter what anyone else tells you, you really can do anything you put your mind to doing.
I hope that you are never afraid of failure. Remember that failure is only a measure of opinion, and as long as you never give up, you can never fail. Believe in yourself, believe in each other, and know that the people who love you will always believe in you too.
I think this quote says it best - Reach for the moon and even in you miss, you'll land among the stars.
