this is a left over from the october/fall sketch challenge and the oct scrap your pet/use stripes challenge. It also works for the not over it yet challenge, where I used Wordz stickers on the cat photos, and the very laid back challenge. Journaling reads….moved in Dec 2006, approximately 3 years old. We met Jeb when we went to pick up Polly at the shelter. He was a big guy, sitting in a basket, expressing his discontent with the world. Although he came to the shelter with the name Mittens , the shelter staff named him Jib short for Jibber jabber because he was very loud and vocal. We brought him home and renamed him Jeb
Jeb is a big guy, 18 lbs when we brought him home, over 22 lbs now. He has a huge head and huge front double paws, and a little tiny tail. He has a face that often looks a little confused, especially when he tilts his head to look at you. He’s too big to comfortably be a lap cat, but loves to lie on the table next to you and rub his head against your arm, rolling over so you can rub his belly. He is very curious and comes running to check on any commotion. He likes to sleep in the window or at the foot of the bed. Unlike at the shelter, he is generally very quiet unless he thinks his needs aren’t being met. He prefers to drink water from the dog’s dish. He sits on the toilet and complains if we take too long in the shower. His most irritating habit is scratching up the woodwork….Other than that, he’s the perfect cat!!!
