My daughter's everyday actions just tickle me. Here she is pretending to read. I especially love how she is holding he flyer with her little index finger pointed up. Journaling reads:You are acting like such a big girl,
trying to read...too bad you are
holding the birthday flyer upside-
down, but that’s okay. You certainly
look as if you know what you are
doing. I mean, just look at the way
you are holding the paper, with your
little index finger pointed up. How
did you get to be so smart? Daddy
and I are so excited to watch you
grow, explore, and learn. You are
the most fascinating creature I have
ever laid eyes on, and each day you
never cease to amaze me with what
you’ve learned. For instance, every
morning, before we get you up for
the day, we just lay there and listen to
you chatter to yourself, and your pink
elephant tied to your crib. It’s like you
are going over your plans for the day.
I will miss these times in the morning
as you get older. It is something that
will stay with me, in my heart, and
my mind for the rest of my life. These
simple, sweet moments, frozen in time.
