I feel for you.... but it does get better. Believe me, I have four. Good thing you already have an outlet to vent frustation and folks to share your stories. Here's a big HUG and remenber chocolate is your friend! Great job!
Great use of that template! I know what your going through. My ds is in the midst of the terrible two's himself. Mine particularly likes to throw things. I'm really hoping it passes too. LOL
Oh yes! I remember this time with my second son :o)) I must scrap a page with this theme. Just go searching a picture of my angry little boy (he is 23 now!)
ok... omg... i love EVERYTHING... i mean EVERYTHING about this! i LOVE how you made all of the frames out of one picture... i LOVE the reality of the photo and how much i relate to the journaling.. i LOVE the fact that you used red to totally set the tone and mood of the journaling/photo. you NAILED this girl!!!
Love how you used all the squares for one pic...great pic too!! I so feel you on this...although, luckily, my youngest is only a month away from 3...hopefully the terrible two's end there.
Oh sister... the best is yet to come!!! The conversations we could have. Needless to say I have a few key phrases and words that will now shut down a tantrum. Of course, it's also nice to have them older and completely understand it when you say... "You can have your fit, but you aren't going to have it in front of me... go to your room with them tears!"
I'm sure though if you ask my dad he will say that Sam picked it up from Brooke. Apparently every bad habit Sam now has is Brooke's fault! HA HA!! :)
Oh yes!! I know all about that!! Love your journaling, but I wouldn't count on that 1 year thing if I were you...lol!! It doesn't always work out that way!! I really love how you used the template and the b/g colour is fabulous!!
LOL!!! I am so there with you!! My twins are only 1 1/2 but already they are throwing themselves on the ground and screaming!! And your doctor was right because my oldest son, Kaden was the same way until he turned 3 years old then it was like someone had flipped a switch!! Whew!! I am in for a long road too!! But hey, back to lo (hehehe) that paper and the way you used one pic for the entire template is so totally cool and very eye catching! Fabulous job!!
DS has TOTALLY hit the terrible twos. Yikes! This is just one of many pics I could have with him throwing hiimself on the floor. I do hope this passes rather quickly. Most of the time I laugh it off because it really is quite amusing to see this normally happy boy have such anger in him. But there are times when I find myself having to take deep breaths to get through it.....and eat lots of chocolate! LOL! TFL.
Journaling: What happened to my mild-mannered boy?! I suppose this is what I get for always priding myself on having such a good-natured child. When I’d see other children throwing a fit, I would think to myself how lucky I am to have you. Nothing ever really seemed to get to you.....until now. I fully understand now what they mean when they say the ‘terrible’ twos. You’re so there. You are really growing into yourself and have very strong opinions about how things should go or where something should be. I respect that, of course, but if something doesn’t go your way you drop to your knees, throw your body to the ground and scream and hit the floor with your hands. Dr. Moretto said we would get our little boy back around the age of 3 and would keep you again until you hit your teenage years. Hmmmm....since you just turned two less than a month ago, I’m thinkin’ this is gonna be a long year.
