I don't know how you would feel about the whole world seeing your little guys hiney, but this should definitely be published. It looks like something that was set up for a magazine shoot. I like the way you kept it simple.

I just love this page so much! It's so simple but powerful in it's message. I love it. Do you think I could get my youngest to pose in front of the TV like that? HA HA Such a cute photo. If you did want to include some journaling, maybe you could do something hidden, like a pull out tab behind the photo? Just an idea. I agree, though that journaling would take away from it if you put it where you could see it. AWESOME LO! I just love it so much!
Thank you everyone for your nice comments! I am glad that you like it! I forgot to mention the title is from the song "I'm proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood. I had a blast doing this, it took me about 20 minutes to do. Thanks again!
This is my oldest son, Micah at about 9 months old. This was a few weeks after 9/11 happened. We were getting him ready for bed when the American Flag came on the TV screen. He crawled up to it and pulled himself up to the screen. I'm so glad I was able to get the camera!
I didn't do any journaling on this page because I didn't want to take away from the picture. My husband and I are both going to write him a letter telling him about how that day (9/11) made us feel.
I don't know why the picture didn't scan well. It actually is very clear.
