10 Great things about going to Allen Beach:
It’s only about 45 minutes away so you’re not stuck in the car for too long. It was an overcast day so we practically had the beach to ourselves. Helping daddy finish off his sand castle by filling up his moat with water. Being the foreman and getting Graham to do all the grunt work in carrying pails of water. It’s a private beach, so the sand is nice and clean for digging. Wearing cute little girl bikinis and “princess”cover-ups. Playing in the lake, even though the water was really cold. Daddy packed donuts in the picnic hamper, but “forgot” to pack the veggies that mommy had set aside for the picnic. We played for 3 hours and then left to go to a birthday party right after. Spending time as a family.
