These pictures are from Christmas 2005. My daughter, Kayli just started walking and it was a great Christmas. It was a Girls Only Christmas and our tree matched that theme. I got the bright idea to buy a white artifical tree and decorate it in only pink and purple. Needless to say most of the ornaments were taken off of the tree on a daily basis, but it was so pretty when it was all lite up! The bottom picture is of Kayli and our dog, Sunny.
*My goal was not to create a standard Christmas layout. I think I've accomplished this with the pink and purple. :) Description: I used pink and purple cardstock by Bazzill and a patterned paper called Magic Wands. I inked in purple, pink and black. The chipboard letters are Colorbok and painted with 5 different colors of purple and pink. The letters were inked and outlined with black and white pen. The edges of the paper were handcut into jagged edges or scallops. I basically just traced my Fiskars edgers and instead of ripping I used scissors. I purchased the glittered purple lights from Ebay and strung them on pink jewelry cord. The ornaments were also purchased on Ebay and I made ornament hooks for them out of jewelry wire. There are also a few small shiny circle stickers.
Enjoy and thanks for taking a peek at my newest layout!
