This was for the decathlon challenge (using dye).
This is the first page for my dh's genealogy album. (Wasn't he a cute little kid??)
The decathlon challenge was dye. I used walnut crystals for my dye. I mixed them up, put them in a squirt bottle, and went to town on that background paper. I wanted a speckled look so I just sprayed on layers instead of soaking it. Then I opened the bottle and used the thin plastic tube to draw random lines on the paper.
Materials:
Colorbok paper
walmart flowers
SU hemp
letter beads (spells 'Bryan' in the flowers)
