This is my youngest daughter Christina, cute as can be at the age of 1,5 years old. I made this one for the negative space challenge, which was kind of hard, because I kept wanting to add things ...

I did a lot of fun things on this LO, I started out by inking a small part of the page orange and red. I sanded the edges of the pic. I drew and cut out a bird, a twig and sunflowers from plain cardstock, did some chalking to create some depth (not so visible on the picture) and added some stickles. This was my original idea: the bird because I saw this one on Sarah Liz's LO "Natural" and thought it looked great, and the sunflowers because I call my youngest daughter "my little sunflower", because she's such a ray of sunshine, happy and smiling all the time. But then I found this beautiful poem, which inspired me to add the rainbow, which I made by stitching beads to the background page, and used those same colours to doodle the frame of the poem.

The poem reads:
May flowers always line your path
and sunshine light your day
May songbirds serenade you
every step of the way
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that's always blue
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through
