A new hodge podge challenge is up!! This week, traci is challenging us to JOURNAL about an achievement. ack....definitely a challenge for me...I am journaling-averse, lol. I gave it a shot though and jotted down some thoughts about an achievement this year. I could really use a journaling/writing class.
once upon a time i started a list of all the things i wished i could do if only i had a little more free time. keep a tidy house. cook a great meal a few times a week. spend more time with my mom. spend more time with dad. then you came into our lives and i thought, i should put my wish list on hold for awhile. because that's what parents do right...tend to their children's needs first. funny thing though. now i'm cooking on a regular basis. and the tidy home is coming along. I get to see mom and dad almost every day. and most importantly, i get to spend my days with you. watching you grow. nurturing you. who knew that becoming your mom would also make me a better wife. a better daughter. a better me.
